Suttons Group forges Mexico links

SUTTONS Group, the Cheshire-based international chemical logistics and supply chain company, has increased its geographical reach with a link-up with a Mexican firm.

The family-owned business has formed a strategic partnership with Mexican freight forwarding company ROVESA.

The partnership will provide a range of logistics and supply chain services which include trucking, international and domestic ISO tank transport, tank cleaning, repair and maintenance and customs brokerage services.

ROVESA was created in 1971 and is a highly regarded freight forwarder operating from the ports of Tampico, Altamira, Veracruz.

Its specialist knowledge and experience in chemical logistics and will enable Suttons to further develop its services in the region.

Greg O’Shea, regional director for Suttons Americas said: “Mexico is an important region for Suttons and the petro-chemical sector is a large and rapidly developing market which we feel we are well placed to support.

“This new partnership will enhance the services Suttons can provide in the region and give our customers the same bespoke, value-added logistics and supply chain services that we deliver elsewhere in the world.”

In North America Suttons has a presence in the petro-chemical hubs of Houston and Chicago and its regional  head office is based in New Jersey.
