NORTON Healthcare has taken 16,500 sq ft at Abbots Park in Runcorn.

It has agreed a 10-year lease at the site, off Chester Road, with landlord Peloton Properties, which is based in Leeds.

Quoting rents at the building are £15/sq ft.

Norton has a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility nearby and intends to create a new research and development facility at Abbots Park.

Cushman & Wakefield advised Norton while GVA acted for the landlord.

Jonathan Baucher of C&W said: “This deal represents the largest office transaction to be completed in the Warrington area this year.  We conducted an extensive search of the North West office market, which ultimately led us to identify Abbots Park as the preferred option.”

LIVERPOOL-based Paul Rooney Solicitors is moving from Stanley Street to 3,500 sq ft on Tarleton Street on a five-year lease.

The new office, formerly a Santander bank branch, is headed by Caroline Sergeant who leads a 20-strong team.
