Reshuffle at Regatta sees new MD appointed

MANCHESTER-based outdoor clothing business Regatta has revealed a top level reshuffle which sees managing director Keith Black become chief executive and chairman and Graham Rickard the new MD.

Mr Rickard, pictured,currently managing director of the Trafford Park company’s  Dare2b brand, has been with the business since 1988 and has previously been a sales manager and product and marketing director.

He will continue to be the managing director of Dare2b and a management structure for the brand will be put in place in due course.

Keith Black said: “I have been managing director of Regatta for 27 years and as the Regatta Group grows even further domestically and internationally, it felt like the right time to move into the role of CEO and chairman, a post I intend to hold for a long time to come.

“Graham is hugely well-equipped to take on the role of managing director for Regatta and I am looking forward to working with him as we continue to develop the UK’s largest outdoor brand into Europe’s largest outdoor brand.”
