More deals for Chase Templeton

LANCASHIRE private medical insurance provider Chase Templeton has continued its spree of bolt-on acquisitions, completing three last week.
It said the deals would add £4.2m in annual premium income, taking it over £100m. The value of the transactions was not disclosed.
The company, which is backed by Manchester’s Palatine Private Equity, has now acquired 23 businesses and books since January 2013. It has annual sales of £13.5m and 70 staff at its Darwen headquarters and offices in Bridgwater, Somerset.
The latest acquisitions are: Bedfordshire consultancy Howill Group, which traded as Medisearch Direct, Chelmsford’s Simply Assured and Heath Assured (Scotland) of Stenhousemuir.
Acquisitions director Jeff Tate said: “Once again we identified intermediaries who were looking to realise the true value of their assets and whose operations offered an excellent fit with our own business and ambitions. Simply Assured and Health Assured both manage strong SME books whilst Medisearch Direct bring an excellent Individual client base to the party.”
Chase Templeton was advised by Shoosmiths’ Manchester office.
