Gym chain takes 27,000 sq ft in Cheshire

A GYM group has taken a 27,000 sq ft unit at Brooke Park in Handforth.

Competition Line UK plans to run the site under the Lifestyle Fitness brand after agreeing a 27-and-a-half-year lease.

Agent DTZ handled the letting on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management.

Phil Morley, associate director at DTZ said: “This transaction again highlights how companies in the North West are looking to expand and that demand continues to grow steadily for modern refurbished units. Good quality stock in prime locations is becoming much more difficult to acquire due to the lack of supply, especially within some size ranges, which is hardening values, incentives and yields for industrial premises.”
