Faith Products boosted by new listings and exports

NEW listings with multiple retailers and growing export sales have boosted turnover to record levels at Bury-based eco-friendly beauty products manufacturer Faith Products.
The 40-strong company, which was launched 40 years ago this year said it had passed £3m turnover for the first time in the year to the end of June.
The Faith in Nature brand has recently a natural baby range called Humphrey’s Corner, which launched exclusively with Boots last June and which last month secured listings with Asda, Tesco Direct and Ocado.
Export sales, which have grown by 32% to £630,000 for the last financial year, have also made a significant contribution to the company’s growth.
Products include beauty and skin care ranges, and also a household cleaning range, which use ingredients that are vegetable based and animal-cruelty free.
The company also works towards reducing its carbon footprint by using less plastic – it sells re-fillable deodorants and shampoo in 5 litre bottles so customers can fill their own smaller containers at home.
The company was founded by Rivka Rose in 1974. Her first product was a natural face cream followed by an organic seaweed shampoo.
She said: “We have a very clear mission – and that is to produce naturally beautiful products, without harming the environment.
“People are, thankfully, careful about what they put on their skin and the impact of the products they use on the environment. This has led many consumers to opt for greener, eco-friendlier, natural products and we continue to innovate and create new ranges all the time. Our longevity and loyal customer base bears testament to the continued demand for such products and the appeal of the Faith in Nature brand.”
