Done brothers plot growth for Health Assured

FRED and Peter Done are looking to increase the size of their Health Assured consultancy with the recruitment of around 15 staff.

The Manchester business, part of their Peninsula Business Services firm, helps to reduce absenteeism by providing employee assistance programmes offering support on personal and financial issues.

David Price, who recently ran the Australian subsidiary of Peninsula, Employsure, has been hired as group director of Health Assured.

He said: “My intention is to recruit 15 new staff immediately; a mix of sales, finance and advisory staff, all to be based at the Peninsula HQ in Manchester.

“As the business grows then I will employ further but my intention is that Health Assured will be the biggest and best provider of employee wellbeing in the UK and I think we are well on our way to achieving this.”

He added: “I want to expand Health Assured into a leading business brand dedicated to employee wellbeing. I have a great team of people in place who advise employees and employers daily on personal issues ranging from stress and depression through to financial problems.

“We are already responsible for the wellbeing of 695,811 employees and I’m proud of our achievements as well as our work with employers. There is a lot more to be done and I am ready for the challenge but I need good people to help, hence my immediate plans for recruitment.”
