Appointments: Mulbury Homes; Hotel Football; Arbuthnot Latham; Davenham; Cabfind

GG Hospitality, Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville’s hospitality company, has announced the team that will open UK’s first Hotel Football opposite Old Trafford in December.

The team launching the 133-bed hotel is made up of: general manager, Stewart Davies; director of marketing, Louise Kemp; director of sales, Katie Garrahy; operations manager Michael Falla; and revenue manager Hayley Peck.

Davies started his career on the Radisson Edwardian Graduate Management Programme, and has held a number of management roles, including at the five star Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel in Leicester Square and the four star Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Manchester city centre.
 
He will work closely with Stuart Procter, the managing director of GG Hospitality, and will be responsible for day-to-day management. 

Louise Kemp was previously the brand manager for UK bar and restaurant operator Living Ventures where she managed an estate of eight Blackhouse restaurants and opened Manchester hotspot, Australasia. Katie Garrahy, was formerly the director of corporate sales at Apex Hotels, managing the sales team which operated a number of four star London hotels. Michael Falla was previously a food and beverage manager for the Hilton group. Hayley Peck has held roles with a number of hotels in Manchester including The Crown Plaza, Malmasion and Radisson Blu Edwardian.

DEVELOPER Mulbury Homes has appointed former Keepmoat Homes regional managing director David Wroe.

He joins Mulbury as head of partnerships and regeneration. The 41-year-old has over 20-years’ experience in the regeneration and development of residential property schemes, having previously worked for Beazer Homes and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.

Leading Mulbury’s partnerships division he will help secure and deliver affordable housing schemes alongside public and private sector landowners.

Meanwhile, office manager Kathryn Cassel joins Mulbury from Trafford Housing Trust where she co-ordinated the organisation’s Right to Buy scheme. Cassel has previously worked at Keepmoat Homes and Bramall Construction.

The 31-year-old will run Mulbury’s head office in Lymm, Cheshire, and will provide administrative support to the firm’s senior management team.

MANCHESTER-based Davenham Asset Finance has made a number of staff changes.

Paul Lovelock has been promoted from business development manager to head of sales, and the firm has appointed two new business development managers, Rebekah Middleton and Stuart Berry.

Lovelock will be responsible for doubling the portfolio and managing the delivery of asset finance loans ranging from £25,000 to £350,000. Rebekah Middleton who will cover the East Midlands/East Anglia areas and Stuart Berry will be responsible for the West Midlands and south Wales.

ARBUTHNOT Latham & Co, the independent private banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group, has appointed Michelle Duncalf as a private banker in Manchester office.

WIRRAL-basd Cabfind has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Jonathan Brennand as general manager.

Brennand joins from Peel Airports, where he was the head of procurement, IT and service delivery for more than five years.

In his new role, he will oversee the development and implementation of operating strategy at the business which manages taxi bookings for corporate clients.

Managing director Chris Jordan said: “Jonathan has a proven track record of delivery in finance, procurement, operational and commercial management, so he is the perfect candidate to help us realise our ambitious growth plans over the coming years. He brings a vast amount of strategic experience to this role and his positive approach, enthusiasm and commitment make him a welcomed addition to the management team.”
