Ellandi targets Bootle’s The Strand
SHOPPING centre investor Ellandi is acquiring The Strand in Bootle, Merseyside, for around £27m.
It is in the process of buying the 400,000 sq ft site from US-based Kennedy Wilson which acquired the centre last year as part of the £250m Britannica Fund.
The deal, which is expected to complete in several weeks, takes Ellandi’s portfolio to 13.
Elsewhere in the North West it owns Ladysmith Shopping Centre in Ashton-under-Lyne and Middleton Shopping Centre.
The Strand has 130 tenants including Argos, Boots and Marks & Spencer.
