THE office agency team at JLL has been appointed to market the last two offices, of 24,927 sq ft and 14,838 sq ft, at Manchester Green in Heald Green on behalf of landlord Barwood.

Barwood acquired the 104,000 sq ft Styal Road site, previously known as Greencourts, from Standard Life last year.

It has just completed a full refurb of building five and is planning a similar treatment for two other blocks. Tenants include phamraceutical group Chiesi, Capita and Ingredion.

JLL director Richard Wharton said: “With its recently refurbished accommodation, large car park, tram, rail and motorway links and proximity to Manchester Airport, we expect that the two remaining units at Manchester Green will achieve significant interest.”

JLL and Canning O’Neill are joint agents.

ROMERO Insurance Brokers has moved to a larger office in Manchester.

It has swapped 800 sq ft Sunlight House in Quay Street for a 2,000 sq ft suite at Bruntwood’s Riverside scheme in New Bailey Street.

Head of Manchester Office Martin Mansley said: “We have now outgrown our current space and are moving to some much needed extra room.  

“We are already one year ahead of plan for Manchester and are on target to achieve £5m premium income by the end of our next financial year.”

LIVERPOOL Mutual Homes (LMH) has secured grants worth £500,000 to carry out external wall insulation.

LMH says the scheme will help save its tenants up to £250-a-year in fuel bills.

The money has come from the £27m REECH programme (Renewables and Energy Efficiency in Community Housing), a European Regional Development Fund-backed project aimed at improving energy efficiency.

Working with registered social landlords throughout Merseyside REECH will provide a range of low carbon technologies in over 3,600 homes.

The programme is being match-funded by Merseyside’s six boroughs and the housing associations LMH, Plus Dane, Helena Partnerships, Villages Housing, Regenda, Your Housing and One Vision.

SUTTON Kersh has attracted 94 lots for its next auction on Thursday, October 30 at the Liverpool City Centre Marriott Hotel.

Among its highlights is Olive Mount Villas, a Grade II-listed six bedroom property, on at a guide price of £125,000.

Auction manageress Cathy Holt said: “We have received numerous enquiries from a range of buyers which reflects the
