Eccleston Homes hits the ground with funding deal

CHESHIRE housebuilder Eccleston Homes has agreed a £1m+ deal to fund a new development of 15 homes.

Warrington-based Eccleston has agreed a seven-figure deal with The Royal Bank of Scotland for its Meadow View project in Rainford near St Helens.

Construction work has now started on the scheme on Mill Lane, just off the A570.  A show home is already pen for viewing.

Eccleston Homes, which completed its maiden development, Lomax Gardens in Cheadle Hulme last year, aims to create traditional-looking properties with contemporary interiors.

Managing director Kevin Marren, who ran Elite Homes Group before selling to Bovis in 2007,  said: “We are really pleased that our plans for Meadow View have now entered the construction phase.  We will be building a combination of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom luxury homes on the site which will offer buyers the latest in modern living along with views of rolling countryside.”

Chris Johnson, senior relationship manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland said: “This is Eccleston Homes’ second development and we are really pleased that we have been able to support the company.

“Its management team are amongst the best I have worked with and together have over 70 years experience.  They have historically achieved many quality awards for the work they have done and are excellently placed to do the same with Eccleston Homes.”
