Preston lender sold to London firm

PRESTON-based bridging finance firm, Mayfair Bridging, has been acquired by a London rival.
Capital Bridging has bought the business saying the deal will support its growth plans.
Mayfair, which will retain its name, has been sold by Yasin Patel and Shoaib Bux.
Capital’s managing director Keith Aldridge said: “Mayfair is a great fit with Capital Bridging. They are a credible team with a strong portfolio of products and a reputation for delivering high quality service. We are delighted to welcome them to the team.”
Mr Bux said: “The opportunity to build our business alongside Capital Bridging’s, leveraging their strong expertise and significant funding capacity is a great endorsement of what we have achieved and the potential we have for the future. We already enjoy a positive working relationship with the Capital Bridging team and are now excited about building a future alongside them.”
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
