Wealthcare expands in Bury

BURY financial adviser Wealthcare has invested £300,000 in new premises.

It aims to double in size after buying the property in Castlecroft Road on the outskirts of the town.

The firm provides advice and planning to corporate and private clients on employee benefits, pensions, investments and mortgages.

Wealthcare also provides advice and planning on private healthcare and cash plans through its Harris Cainer Warner division.

The firm has 15 staff and £70m of funds under management. Its client base comprises individuals, trustees, companies and their employees.

Founder and joint managing director Richard Harris said: “The move to larger premises became necessary due to continued expansion of the business. The additional space means we will be able to accommodate more independent financial advisers and administrative staff as we look to grow further.

“We are looking to double in size over the next two to three years, in terms of both our workforce and our funds under management.”

Mr Harris, who founded Wealthcare in 2003, leads the business with joint managing director Stephen Cainer.
