Lettings latest: Traveller’s Tales; LCM Wealth Management; Corinthian Tax; Magnet
KNUTSFORD games developer Traveller’s Tales has expanded into Wilmslow after signing for an 11,000 sq ft office building.
The Warner Bros company, which is behind a string of Lego games, has signed a new 10-year lease on 1 King’s Close.
Adam Jackson, associate director of the office agency at commercial agent Lambert Smith Hampton, acted on behalf of the landlord Petros.
He said: “Securing a single occupier for this building has always remained our principle objective and it is pleasing to have achieved this. We are witnessing increased letting activity from the telecommunications, media and technology sector and the growth of Travellers Tales is a great success story for the region.”
Richard Heap, Facilities Manager for Traveller’s Tales, added: “1 Kings Close is not only well located in the heart of Wilmslow but also provides our staff with highly flexible and efficient workspace.”

LCM Wealth Management has taken 3,077 sq ft of office space in Warrington.
It has agreed a 10-year lease on part of the ground floor of Rutherford House in a deal agreed by DTZ and Altus Eileen Bilton on behalf of Manchester based Pin Property Group.
Located opposite Birchwood Park in Warrington, Rutherford House is a 58,000 sq ft office building arranged over two wings.

CORINTHIAN Tax has signed up to lease offices at Fountain House in Manchester city centre.
The chartered accountants and chartered tax advisers have relocated from Regus’ serviced offices on King Street to take 1,082 sq ft of space on the third floor on a six-year lease.
Located on the corner of Fountain Street and Booth Street, the 12,700 sq ft is also home to insolvency practitioners, Unity Corporation. The latest deal means there is just over 9,000 sq ft remaining in suites available from 944 sq ft to 2,162 sq ft per floor.

KITCHEN retailer Magnet has taken the corner unit at Stamford House, Altrincham.
The 7 Stamford New Road unit has 2,500 sq ft across the ground floor and basement. The retailer has taken a 10-year lease with a five-year break option.
Richard Donaldson, senior estates surveyor at Magnet, said: “This corner unit is ideally located at the crossroads to the new transport interchange and Market Street in a prime shopping area and we will open on Boxing Day for the start of our important Winter Sale campaign.”
The developer, landlord Petros, is nearing completion of the 24 loft style apartments on the three upper floors which will be available to rent. The agent is Regional Property Solutions.
