Nobles wins £1.5m hospital refurb

LIVERPOOL-based Nobles Construction is on target to grow turnover after securing a new deal in the healthcare sector worth £1.5m.

The firm has won a contract to re-develop Aintree Hospital NHS Trust’s Outpatient Department as it looks to expand its facilities and update the healthcare service it provides.

The brief will see Nobles strip out the existing outpatient building and provide new finishes as well as full mechanical and electrical installations in the 12,000 sq ft department.

The trust said that its investment will help drive down patient waiting times and provide faster access to full assessment and appropriate treatments.

Peter Linford, director at Nobles Construction, said: “Nobles continues to benefit from its growing reputation for work in the health sector. Our experience proved fundamental in the tender process and we’re looking forward to working closely with the client to deliver an excellent facility for the community.”

Nobles Construction has worked with Aintree Hospital NHS Trust on other projects including the Marina Dalglish Breast Cancer Unit and the Colposcopy Unit.
