MLP Law enters Liverpool legal market

MLP Law, the south Manchester legal firm, has opened a third location with an office in Liverpool.

The firm, previously known as Myers Lister Price, has taken an office on the city’s Penny Lane – a location forever immortalised by The Beatles song.

The new office is led by Lesley Gill, director and head of wills, trusts and probate. The firm says it recogised an opportunity to thrive in the Liverpool market as part of its growth plan.

Lesley Gill said: “This is a very exciting time for everyone at MLP Law as we continue to expand the business. We are experiencing an important period of growth and this move helps us strengthen our offering as a specialist commercial law firm to businesses across the region.

“Liverpool is a thriving location for businesses and this is why we chose to open our new office here. Through widening our geographic accessibility to our clients we are even better placed to provide them with jargon-free, solution-driven legal insight and advice for both their business and their personal affairs, in order to help them map out their plans for the future.”

Stephen Attree, managing director of MLP Law, said: “It’s been a tough time for the legal sector over the last couple of years and law firms have faced many changes and challenges. However, we’re proud that we’re still continuing to grow in response to the volumes of client work we’re receiving.”
