50,000 sq ft letting at Stonebridge

KITCHEN equipment manufacturer Middleby UK has taken 50,000 sq ft at Stonecross Business Park in Wigan.

The business has agreed a 10-year lease at the park which is close to junction 23 of the M6.

The unnamed landlord was represented by CBRE and B8 Real Estate. Joseph Wilshaw of Altus Edwin Hill advised Middleby.

Paul Cook, director at CBRE’s Manchester office, said: “The building let within five weeks of the previous tenant vacating it, this was a quick transaction helped along by the acquiring agent Joseph Wilshaw of Altus Edwin Hill.

“The speed of the deal demonstrates that there remains an increasing demand for Grade A quality warehouse accommodation with good motorway connectivity which Stonecross Business Park provides.”
