Firms in line for Salford gongs

COMPANIES of all sizes and sectors are being invited to enter Salford Business Awards.

They can bid for gongs in one or more of eight categories, including a new award for Online Business.

Entries for the Awards which take place at the AJ  Bell Stadium in Salford on May 21, must be in by February 20.

Following judging and shortlisting in April, the winners and runners-up will be announced on the night.

The other categories are for Innovation, Excellence, Green, Community, Entrepreneur, Rising Star and Best Employer.

Salford City Mayor and GMCA’s business support holder, Ian Stewart, said:  “Salford is home to some of the most innovative and exciting businesses in the UK and we’re keen to celebrate their success.

“They make a vital contribution to the economy, invest in regeneration and create opportunities for local people. This is now their chance to be recognised and rewarded for their achievements – and no doubt there will be some difficult decisions for the judges.”
