Assist swallows Bibby’s System Training

LIVERPOOL’S Bibby Line Group has sold System Training, a £10m turnover training provider for the logistics and warehousing sectors.

The business which has offices in Carlisle, Manchester, Leeds, Gateshead,  Stockton-on-Tees and Watford, has been bought by Bridgewater Human Capital, which owns the Assist Resourcing Group, for an undisclosed sum.

System Training was founded in 1996 and has since become one of the most respected learning providers in its core sectors delivering apprenticeships and training solutions to some of the most recognised brands in the UK.

In addition to a strong commercial training business System Training delivers over £6m of publicly funded training across employment solutions and apprenticeships.

Dave Dargan, chief executive of Liverpool-based Assist Resourcing said: “We are really pleased to welcome on board our new colleagues at System Training who are joining a team that are achieving great things.
