Van hire firm gears up for expansion

NORTHGATE Vehicle Hire has announced it is investing £4m in the North West and will create 100 jobs, starting with the launch of two new branches in Manchester and Birkenhead this year.

It has kicked off its recruitment drive by holding two open days in January to begin filling the vacant roles, which include driver/valeter and customer service agent positions.

Helen Sutton, head of HR at Northgate, said: “We are very proud of our success over the last year and excited about how the company will develop and grow in the North West during 2015, creating jobs and providing investment in the local economy.

“The career open days were an excellent opportunity for us to meet potential employees in the area and discuss the roles in more detail.”
