Property briefs: Lettings round-up; Maskery for sale

A POPULAR pub in Congleton has been put on the market with a £750,000 price tag.

Real estate adviser Savills, on behalf of a private client, has been mandated to sell The Maskery.

The town centre venue, which has recently undergone a high specification refurbishment, comprises a main bar and lounge on the ground floor plus accommodation  and a commercial kitchen on the first floor.  There is also an external courtyard area.

Tom Cunningham, associate director at Savills, said: “The Maskery is located close to the main shopping and leisure areas of Congleton and is therefore well set to benefit from a consistent trade.  Following its new fit out, the bar has established itself as a popular dwelling, which is supported by its reported strong turnover.”
