DDM Mailing delivers on growth plans

A CHESHIRE-based postal and direct mail specialist has been celebrating a string of contract wins a year after its move to larger premises.

DDM Mailing has secured a contract extension to collect up to 5,000 letters, parcels and other packages every day from Flintshire County Council’s offices in Flint and Mold.

The Flintshire contract extension with postal solutions partner ONEPOST UK follows deals with West Ham United, and Mantis, a home and garden product retailer.

DDM has also invested in new technology with the arrival of a Neopost TFi-200 Folder Inserter at its headquarters on the Clayhill Industrial Estate in Neston. The machine is capable of inserting multiple items.

In order to meet the increasing number of customers, DDM has brought in Saskia Dooley as part of its sales and marketing team.

Since moving to the Clayhill in February last year, the company has almost doubled the size of its premises to more than 1500sq ft.

Vanessa Williams, a director of DDM, said: “We have been delighted with the progress we have made since moving to our new HQ in Neston a year ago.

“We are finding our postal solutions service is in great demand, while the new Neopost inserter means we are able to offer our customers industry-leading technology.”

She added: “We are able to provide businesses with an excellent solution for postal collections as well as first-class customer service and a cost effective solution including fixed prices.

“We manage all sizes of post from letters to large letters as well as packets, parcels and courier items nationally and internationally.”

DDM has a network of drivers to collect mail on a daily or ad hoc basis. Alternatively, businesses can drop off mail at DDM’s depot in Neston.

In addition to the postal services division of the business, DDM also provides customers with a range of fulfilment, print management and direct mail solutions.

The business was established in 2006 by Ms Williams and partner Dave Dooley.
