IT contracts roll in to tune of £10m

Superfast network

ITS Technology Group (ITS) has started the year by closing a series of high value IT managed service contracts and customer wins totalling more than £10m.

The Cheshire-based firm has plans to triple in size this year, and these wins put it on track to smash its target. The firm is also building and managing superfast broadband networks in a number of digitally deprived rural and urban locations across the UK.

ITS has closed deals with a number of companies including high end jewellers’ E G Milton, health insurer Medicash Health Benefits, and the prestigious Cumbrian co-educational boarding school, Sedbergh School, as well as many more.

ITS chief executive Roy Shelton said: “Last year we grew significantly. Some of this was organic growth, and we also made three acquisitions to strengthen the superfast broadband networks and IT Managed Services sides to our business.

“Our aim is to continue with this growth strategy, and being awarded these contracts sees us on-track to smash our targets.

“It has also created a number of job opportunities, and we are actively recruiting talented technology specialists. We have recently identified apprentice and graduate roles along with a number of more senior vacancies which we need to fill.”

ITS is one of only a handful of service providers that can provide a total end to end customer experience across network provision, IT support, via its Network Operations Centre (NOC) located in Sheffield, and IT management, as well as telephony services and Cloud-based services such as Microsoft 365.

The NOC staff are supported by field engineers at offices in Wilton, Runcorn, Manchester, Welshpool and Hammersmith. It was also recently shortlisted for a Northwest Business Masters award in the ‘fast growth business’ category.

The winners of Northwest Business Masters Awards will be announced at a black—tie dinner at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on March 12. They are sponsored by law firm Gateley; Cenkos Securities; The Business Growth Hub; NCC Group and North West marketing and communications agency Influential.
