Into the city for optimisation company

WORKFORCE optimisation specialist Working Time Solutions is set to open its first office in Manchester city centre to meet increasing demand.
Its team of software developers will move into a 1,200 sq ft office within the newly-refurbished Sevendale House on Dale Street soon.
The operation will augment the company’s existing office in Middleton, Greater Manchester. With its total staff of 35, Working Time Solutions uses data and specialist software to plan and manage shift patterns which deliver significant improvements in efficiency, productivity and employee work-life balance.
Revenues have increased 25% during the last 12 months with turnover reaching £2.85m in the year to March 31. The business has achieved annual growth in excess of 20% since 2011.
The company says its success has been driven by demand from large public and private sector organisations which view flexible resourcing arrangements as key to tackling major challenges posed by increasing global competition, economic pressures, 24/7 service demands and a competitive skills market.
The company works across a diverse range of industries and has a client base which includes Unilever, Babcock International, Premier Foods, Wales & West Utilities, Thames Water, London Ambulance Service, Cheshire West & Chester Council and Dublin Airport Authority.
Managing director Kevin White said: “Workforce optimisation is a high growth market driven by large organisations needing to increase productivity and service quality whilst improving skills retention, Corporate Social Responsibility and employee wellbeing.
“Existing HR software and rudimentary Excel-based systems are ill-equipped to deliver the sort of resourcing flexibility and responsiveness that unlocks transformative efficiency gains and creates a healthier, happier workforce.”
