Duo launch consultancy with nine big instructions

TWO retail and leisure agency surveyors have set up a property consultancy in Liverpool.

Llyr Emanuel and Dan Oliver are offering advice to a variety of institutional investors, property companies, private landlords and retail and leisure operators throughout the UK.

The company, branded Emanuel Oliver has launched with nine shopping centre and retail park instructions in locations across the North West and Wales and is retained by such as Costa, Heron and Mococo to acquire space.

The company is also dealing with high street instructions for Royal London, CBRE Global Investors and Co-operative Group in addition to representing Yorkshire Building Society and Specsavers on numerous matters.

The business partners were colleagues at Legat Owen before setting up their new operation at 1 Old Hall Street.

Emanuel said: “As the market improves and changes, we decided now was the right time to create a niche agency. We also felt that Liverpool was the perfect location for us to service our client base.”

Oliver added: “Recent changes in the retail and leisure agency world have shown that there is definitely room for more hands-on support for retailers, leisure operators, shopping centre owners, investors and landlords and we’re keen to stake our place in the field as a leading player nationally in the North West.”

The shopping centres where Emanuel Oliver is appointed are: Arndale Centre, Accrington; The Pyramids, Birkenhead; Central Precinct, Buckley in Flintshire; Bay View, Colwyn Bay; Phase 2, Holyhead Retail Park; Wainwrights Yard, Kendal; Belle Vale, Liverpool; St John’s, Preston and Eagles Meadow, Wrexham.
