Dazzling growth from LED lighting firm

LED lighting specialist One Electrical has celebrated a record year of growth as with revenue topping £5.2m – up 20% on the previous year.

The Manchester-headquartered manufacturer with 20 employees, which also supplied its three millionth product, has invested in an additional 15,000sq ft of warehousing space adjacent to its existing 30,000sq ft site on Bankfield Road and expects to grow by a further 20% during the current financial year.

Managing director Gerard Hall said: “We were one of the first electrical suppliers to specialise in LED lighting and by remaining ahead of technology we have built a loyal customer base both across the UK distributor network and in key international markets, including Dubai, South Africa and Saudi Arabia.
 
“Our established manufacturing base, in-house lighting design capabilities and reliable supply chain support a comprehensive product portfolio that include premium ranges with a five-year warranty and branded Cree and Mean Well components.
 
“As a result, we have remained ahead in a very competitive marketplace and are continuing to grow and invest in product development and stock holding capabilities.”
