BLACKPOOL law firm Blackhurst Budd has invested £150,000 in new offices in the town.

The firm’s main office has been located at its Edward Street base for almost 100 years and with an ever expanding workforce the decision was taken to acquire new premises in an adjacent building.

Director David Aird said: “We’ve known for some time that we needed larger premises following the merger of a number of firms with Blackhurst Budd over the years. Although we did consider relocating to new out of town offices our preferred choice was to remain within the town centre.”

As a result of the investment, all the firm’s 42 staff are based under one roof in modern, open plan offices.

Managing director Warren Spencer added “The acquisition of the property and the fact we will now be working under one roof is so much better for all of our staff and for our clients.”
