Triple contract win for Glendale

GLENDALE has scored a hat-trick of new client wins within the housing industry, with a total annual value of almost £750,000.

The national green services specialist based in Chorley, Lancashire, will provide grounds maintenance and landscaping services to The Bernicia Group, Shoreline Housing Partnership and Together Housing Group as it expands its presence in the housing sector.

For the Together Housing Group, Glendale will carry out work at 215 sites across Doncaster, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds, Darlington, York and Wakefield as part of a two year contract.

The Bernicia Group contract covers approximately 2,000 properties in Newcastle, North and South Tyneside, Gateshead, Chester-le-Street and Prudhoe. The contract lasts for one year.

In Cleethorpes and Immingham, the Shoreline Housing Partnership three-year contract will see Glendale work with members of the community to improve the standard of green areas.

The contracts follow Glendale’s similar wins with Bolton at Home, Johnnie Johnson Housing and Midland Heart worth approximately £2.75m per annum.

Mike Brunskill, sales and marketing director at Glendale said: “These contract wins are fantastic news for Glendale as we continue to grow our presence in the housing sector.

“In the past we have predominantly worked with local authorities and while we will continue to do so we are seeing strong growth in other areas, in particular with housing associations.

“Our main aim with these contracts will be to improve the overall standard of the estates and green areas. The contracts will also enable Glendale to work closely with residents and local community groups to increase satisfaction levels and contributes to the local economy by creating job opportunities and delivering added value initiatives and ideas.”

Glendale, which is currently celebrating its 25th year of service provision, delivers a portfolio of specialist green services to local authorities, private estates, utility companies and housing associations.
