Revenues on the up at TLT

NATIONAL law firm TLT, which has been growing rapidly in Manchester, has reported a 8% increase in fee income.

The firm, which in the last two years has built up a team of more than 80 people at its base at 3 Hardman Square, said turnover had passed £60m for the first time in its last financial year, climbing to £62.5m.

Profits were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Bristol, TLT said that since launching a three-year growth strategy in 2012/13, its revenues have surged 27% and headcount from 669 to 928.

In the last financial year, the firm has invested around  £5m in its people and infrastructure to cement its recent expansion into Manchester, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Managing Partner David Pester said: “This has been a year of investment and growth. We have invested in our offices, people and infrastructure to cement our UK-footprint and deepen our expertise. Over the next 12 months we will continue to grow our market share by focusing on maximising the return from the investments that we have made.”

 The firm has a growing client base in the energy & renewables, financial services, leisure & retail and consumer goods sectors with significant panel appointments including Barclays and Sainsbury’s in the last financial year.
