BDP takes the high road for Granite City

A MASTERPLAN for Aberdeen designed by the Manchester and Glasgow studios of BDP has been approved by the city council.
It pulls together key housing, building, transport and regeneration proposals in a bid to transform parts of the main urban centre of North East Scotland.
Regeneration could create more than 5,500 additional jobs and an extra £280m a year for the city’s £2bn economy.
BDP was appointed by Aberdeen City Council to prepare a new vision and delivery programme for the city centre in 2014, and was chosen unanimously from a shortlist of six after more than 120 initial expressions of interest.
