Digital community celebrates success
MANCHESTER Digital’s Big Chip Awards have taken place with businesses in the sector coming together with more companies shortlisted than every before.
More than 400 people gathered at Manchester’s Midland Hotel for the glitzy ceremony last night.
Several companies from the city triumphed, including Stardotstar, which won Best Public Sector Project with First Steps; Access, which won Best User Experience with BAFTA Website; and iProspect Manchester won two awards – Best Use of Search with Driving Sign Up Growth across the UK for PureGym and the Big Chip Digital Agency Award.
Two new categories were also introduced to open the awards up to more businesses this year, including Best B2C E-Business Project, won by Manchester-based Ampersand with Harvey Nichols: A Success Story of online Luxury and Best B2B E-Business Project, won by Climb Creative with Where the Trade Buys.
