Epic opens latest apart hotel in Ropewalks zone

LIVERPOOL-based Epic Apart Hotel has opened its new property in the city’s Ropewalks area.

The company has invested £800,000 in the property at 75 Duke Street, which was empty since 1984. It now comprises 17 contemporary apartments, taking epic’s occupancy in the city centre to 35 apartments and studios.

It comes as Epic’s two other properties on Seel Street and Campbell Street continue to achieve excellent scores on Trip Advisor – currently number one and three respectively in the 84 property strong ‘speciality lodging in Liverpool’ section on the travel review website.

Epic managing director Simon Beer said: “We are delighted to open 75 Duke Street, which we think is a great addition to the city’s accommodation offer. The new property is ideal for groups and families who want more than what a hotel can offer them, at a price that’s within their budget.

“We’ve also launched our new ePod concept within the building, which are smaller rooms that are perfect for the solo corporate traveller and weekend couple looking for a quality, yet affordable place to stay.

“We’ve already received amazing feedback about Duke Street from our customers, which is encouraging.”

Husband and wife team, Simon and Fiona Beer, launched Epic Apart Hotel in 2012 and continue to actively grow and evolve the brand in the serviced-apartments sector, looking to develop further properties in and outside of Liverpool.
