ServicePower upbeat on prospects

MOBILE workforce software developer ServicePower Technologies says it has had a good first half, with revenues rising and losses decreasing.
The business which has its headquarters in Stockport said in an update on trading for the six months to June 30 that revenues will be around £7m in the period, up £800,000 on the same period last year.
Gross profit for the half-year will be £3.4m (H1 2014: £2.7m), while losses before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation will be £200,000, down from £700,000 in 2014.
The company said it expects to return top profit in the second half, and is also expecting a “significant improvement” in its cash position.
Chief executive Marne Martin said: “ServicePower has had a strong start to 2015 and well is positioned to deliver a strong performance in future. Our growing client base, including some well-known brands, is proof of our commitment to provide one of the most technologically advanced field management tools in the world.
“Building on our progress and performance in the first half of 2015 we are confident that the full year will be successful.”
