Appointments: Beech Holdings; Faith in Nature & more

MANCHESTER company Beech Holdings, which develops and lets green, energy efficient accommodation to students and young professionals, has made a key hire.
It has recruited David Potter, a former director of corporate banking at Royal Bank of Scotland as head of finance.
With nearly 30 years’ banking experience, Potter has held a number of senior financial roles helping to build businesses and manage growth.
Founder Stephen Beech said: “We are delighted David has joined Beech Holdings and we look forward to the contributions he will make. A passionate and genuine finance and property champion, he is uniquely qualified to meet the challenges and opportunities we face as we build our green property portfolio across the city.”

NATURAL beauty product manufacturer, Faith in Nature, has boosted its management team with the appointment of Helen Keely as head of marketing.
Keely has previously worked in marketing for some of the big names in the health and beauty sector including Avon Cosmetics and most recently at PZ Cussons, where she spent five years and launched its Mum & Me Little Explorers range.
She said: “I have always had a passion for the sector and was attracted by Faith in Nature’s natural credentials. I fell in love with the company’s ethos. They really do set themselves apart from the competition and I am proud to be heading up the marketing team for the brand.”
Chair and founder Rivka Rose said: “Helen’s strong background in this sector will set her in good stead for extending our reach to a larger audience. We are excited to have her on board and I trust her industry knowledge will further add to our team and therefore our brand.”

WASTE management machinery designer and manufacturer Whitham Mills Engineering has hired two new sales managers to its business development team as part of its expansion plans.
Peter Koller and Michael Barker join Todmorden-based Whitham Mills with extensive backgrounds in sales.
Koller is based in Southampton and will drive baling system sales in the UK, while Barker will be based at the company’s Todmorden HQ and will lead a new division of the business – equipment rental and consumables sales.
Ben Smart, managing director at Whitham Mills said: “Peter and Michael join the company at a time of growth and we are thrilled to welcome them to the team. Both possess key skills in sales that will be part of the driving force as we look to sustainably grow Whitham Mills.”

HARROW Estates, the Cheshire-based property company based at Preston Brook, Cheshire and part of the Redrow Group has appointed Neil Terrett as development manager.
He has more than 15 years’ experience working for listed and private property companies, joint ventures and in real estate finance for a multi-national banking group.
The appointment sees Harrow add to the existing land team of Julian Hamer, Development Surveyor alongside Managing Director, Mike Riding.
