Document scanning firm bought for £1m

LEIGH-based Crimson UK, a document scanning business, has been acquired by AIM-listed Restore for £1m cash.
Restore, a £68m turnover support services company based in London, said further payments of up to £675,000 over five years may be made, conditional on the award and execution of a potential major contract.
Crimson delivers outsourced or onsite document scanning and data capture services across the UK to a range of public and private sector organisations.
It formed through the merger of Hi-Scan and MTL Document Services in November 2009.
David Bowcock and Mark Morrell from law firm Brabners advised Restore on the deal.
