DLA Piper swoops for top team

GLOBAL law firm DLA Piper has appointed David Moss, Paul Giles and Nigel Proctor as partners and a consultant, respectively, into its Manchester office.

They will join the firm from Eversheds at a date yet to be confirmed and will be part of DLA Piper’s global infrastructure, construction and transport sector.

David Moss is a contentious construction lawyer with 25 years’ experience specialising in project management, contract administration and resolution of claims in the civil, heavy engineering power and process (primarily oil and gas) and building industries, both nationally and internationally.  He is also an accredited adjudicator and mediator.  

Paul Giles is also a contentious construction lawyer with 15 years’ experience in dispute avoidance and resolution, with particular focus on the road, rail, oil and gas, heavy engineering, water/waste water and nuclear industries nationally and internationally.    

Nigel Proctor is dual qualified as a non-contentious construction lawyer and a chartered civil engineer and has has spent 20 years advising on both client funded and project financed infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally.

Proctor has particular expertise in drafting, negotiating and advising upon EPC and related documents for the construction and engineering sector, primarily, water, rail, oil and gas, nuclear, waste and renewables.
