Eurocamp set to roll into new Cheshire home

CAMPING holiday specialist Eurocamp is relocating to larger premises in Cheshire as the company continues to expand.

Eurocamp, which specialises in self-catering holidays at locations across Europe, is moving its headquarters to Chelford House on Gadbrook Park just outside Northwich town centre.

The company has taken out a 10-year lease on 16,200sq ft of space encompassing the entire first floor and part of the second floor of the property.

The move was advised on by law firm Ward Hadaway and chartered surveyors Cushman & Wakefield.

Moving to Chelford House from Eurocamp’s previous base at Hartford Manor in nearby Hartford will provide a more open plan environment for the company, which sells self-catering holidays on purpose-built parks across 10 different European countries and employs around 180 people at its headquarters.

Eurocamp managing director Darren Marsh said: “We are delighted to have found the ideal place for a new headquarters for the company.

“With the growth plans of the business, we needed to find new premises that encouraged a more flexible way of working but we wanted to stay in the area to ensure continuity and in our operations and most importantly, for our staff.

“Chelford House ticks all the boxes as it is gives us an open plan space in a modern complex with good transport links that isn’t too far away from where we are now.

“We are grateful to Ward Hadaway and to Cushman & Wakefield for the excellent support and guidance which they have provided us with on this important move for Eurocamp.”

The company is due to move into its new headquarters by April 2016.
The property team at law firm Ward Hadaway’s Manchester office provided legal advice to Eurocamp on the move to Chelford House with Property Partner Andrew Dunn leading the firm’s team.

Dunn said said: “Moving headquarters for a major company like Eurocamp is a very important step so we were very pleased to be able to advise on the arrangements for this new property.

Jonathan Baucher, partner and head of Office Agency – Northern Markets at the Manchester office of Cushman & Wakefield, advised Eurocamp on the property aspects of the move.

He said: “We are very pleased to have helped Eurocamp to find their new HQ. We sourced several alternatives for the company, but Chelford House was the best in terms of location, facilities and wider benefits

“It is on an established business park with on-site amenities and well connected to the region’s transport networks as well as being in close proximity to where the company is currently located.”
