Compare52 celebrates deal with multi-billion dollar Ingram Micro

MANCHESTER-based search technology business Compare52 has struck up an agreement with the multi billion dollar company Ingram Micro – the world’s biggest IT distributor.

Ingram Micro which provides the likes of John Lewis, Amazon and various other businesses has agreed a contract with Compare52 to supply their 16,000 IT resellers with a white label solution.

The solution enables IT companies to plug an airtime webstore onto their current site and offer their customer a comparison engine with partners such as EE, Vodafone, O2 and Carphone Warehouse all included in the comparison tables.  Resellers will receive an upfront commission for all successful connections.  

Compare52 chief executive Ashley Bailey said: “Ingram Micro is the biggest IT distributor in the world.

“With them signing an agreement with Compare52 it enables us to grow aggressively throughout Europe and the USA with Ingram Micro. Germany is the first country we will be targeting.

 “The business aim is to have 250 UK IT resellers signed up by December 2015 and we’re on target so far which is great news for myself and the team.”
