Victoria’s Secret heading for Liverpool ONE
LINGERIE specialist Victoria’s Secret and its sister brand Victoria’s Secret PINK, are to open a 10,000 flagship store in the Liverpool ONE shopping centre.
Grosvenor Fund Management announced the move with work to create the store, which involves combining a number of standard sized units on Lower South John Street due to begin in the New Year with opening planned for summer 2016.
Victoria Secret joins a growing list of international retailers selecting Liverpool ONE for regional flagships.
In the last 12 months, Michael Kors has chosen Liverpool ONE’s Peter’s Lane for its second store outside London, coinciding with the opening of Zara’s 27,000sq ft two-floor flagship on South John Street.
In addition, Hugo Boss has upsized, and both UGG and SuperTrash have launched boutiques, the latter taking its first store outside the West End.
To accommodate Victoria’s Secret and Victoria’s Secret PINK, GFM has relocated Ann Summers and Card Factory to new stores of 3,675sq ft and 3,058 sq ft respectively on South John Street.
Cushman & Wakefield and Metis Real Estate Advisors acted for Liverpool ONE. CBRE represented Victoria’s Secret. Rapleys dealt for Ann Summers and Barker Proudlove for Card Factory.
