Top presenter to host North West Business Masters
BBC presenter Dan Walker will be playing a home fixture when he hosts of the 2016 North West Business Masters Awards.
The broadcaster who after university began his career at Manchester’s Key 103 radio station, and now works for Radio 5Live and for BBC Sport, based at MediaCity.
Football Focus anchor presenter Walker has also worked on the Olympics, 
Wimbledon and the Grand National and appeared on Songs of Praise and Celebity Mastermind.
The awards, in association with Convex Capital, are being held on Thursday March 10, 2016 at the Midland Hotel in Manchester and will celebrate excellence in enterprise and entrepreneurship across the region.
Previous winners of the Masters Awards include household names such as Jaguar Land Rover, JD Sports, high growth firms including Better Bathrooms and entrepreneurs such as Fred Done of Bet Fred and philanthropic investor Norman Stoller.
With the dealine looming on Friday 11, nominations are still invited in the following categories:

Around 500 people are expected to attend the awards, which will begin with cocktails and culminate in a post-event party.
