Shiny new home for Diamond Interiors
AN office fit-out specialist has moved into its own £1m new headquarters and showroom.
Fast-growing Wigan-based Diamond Interiors – which is celebrating its tenth year of business this year – has relocated to a former kitchen company showroom on Horton Street in the town.
Supported by a six-figure funding deal from Royal Bank of Scotland, the 10,000sq ft space has been completely renovated and transformed into a modern facility over the last few months. The building now has open plan office areas – utilising the latest bench design furniture, bespoke warehousing facilities and stunning visitors’ space.
Diamond Interiors provide office design and space planning services to a range of clients across both the private and public sectors. It provides a ‘one-stop’ service for clients from an initial brief through to full design, supply and installation of office furniture.
Customers include: Redrow Homes; Swinton Insurance; Electricity North West and EDF Energy. The company also supplied the furniture for the £2.7m Rentalcars.com HQ in Manchester, refurbished Sheffield City Council’s HQ and provided the furniture for law firm Pannone Corporate’s refurbishment of 157 year old Castlefield Chapel.
Managing director Nick Pollitt said: “It is a very exciting period for everyone involved at Diamond Interiors and we are really pleased with our new premises.
“The last 24 months have seen us achieve some incredible levels of growth and we have been involved in some huge projects for some stellar business names. This rapid growth had meant that we had far outgrown our previous home and after an extensive search we were delighted when we found the former Magnet premises were up for sale.
“The site ticked all of the boxes in relation to our current requirements and also provides plenty of capacity to help to facilitate and accommodate our future expansion plans. The renovation works that we have carried out are really impressive and I am thrilled with the facility we have created.”
