The Mothership Group launches app for independent retailers

A LIVERPOOL company has launched a new app that it says will help independent retailers drive sales and lift profits.
My Perfect Shop, a free app available on both IOS and Android devices, influences retailers into making better choices about the products they offer to their local community and includes a multi-supplier reward scheme.
The My Perfect Shop app also provides independent retailers a voice on Twitter via the Mothership Communities, allowing the store owner to reach out to local consumers on social media.
Dave Harker, director of The Mothership Group which has developed the app, said: Our aim is to help the independent retailer to be even more successful with incentives from leading brands that help them to stock and merchandise the right products, in the right way. 
“We’re absolutely delighted with how well the app and website has been received so far by both the retailers and leading brands such as The Weetabix Food Company, Kettle Chips, Birds Eye and Burtons Biscuit Company.”
Darryl Burgess of Weetabix added: “We at Weetabix are keen to explore new approaches to helping our customers ensure they stock the right range of products and merchandise them most effectively. This initiative is good for shoppers, retailers, wholesalers and suppliers, and we are excited to see it drive sales for all.”
The Mothership Group was founded in 2014 by Lorna Davidson, after she sold field sales and marketing company Tactical Solutions to St Ives Group in 2011. The company comprises of entrepreneurs who are initiating, developing and launching disruptive companies. 
 
It is working with a number of start-up businessess, including online recruitment platform Red WigWam, talent development business FMCG Talent, pet gift service Jammy Pet, and innovative retail service My Perfect Shop.
