Gekko turnover nudging £1m

GEKKO, a specialist IT consultancy based in Manchester, ended 2015 on a high with triple digit growth driving turnover to just under £1m, 300% up on 2014.

New clients included Cancer Research and Everest as well as supporting North West based businesses such as urbanbubble, LSE Retail Group, Lattitude Law and The Apprentice Academy.

Formerly known as IT Sourced, Gekko underwent a full-rebrand after developing a much more consultative approach to its business model.

It offers a wide range of services including telephony and communications, data centres, data connectivity, collaborative technology and IT Support.

Co-founder and director Kristian Burrill said: “We believe that technology should be simple and accessible, improving the way all businesses communicate and function.

“Whether it’s integrating communications or ensuring better access to data, we look holistically at a business rather than what equipment or software to supply.

“Gekko is about being curious. We want to have a partnership with our clients that go beyond expectations.  The highlight really has been the rebrand and move to our amazing new office. 2015 saw us evolve into the business we’re striving to be and create a space that reflects the business too.”
