Printer and web designer appoint non exec director

STRUGGLING Manchester print and website design firm Grafenia has appointed Jan-Hendrik Markus Mohr  to its board as a non executive director.

Mohr is the founder and managing director of JMX Capital GmbH, an investment advisory firm.

Previously, he worked with a number of advisory businesses and most recently in investment management with Investmentaktiengesellschaft für Langfristige Investoren TGV, a shareholder in Grafenia.

Chairman of Trafford Park-based Grafenia Les Wheatley said: “Jan’s strength in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in complementary business areas will be invaluable to the board as it seeks to leverage Grafenia’s platform as a public company to create shareholder value.”

AIM-listed Grafenia issued a profit warning in its last trading update in February.

The company, which offloaded its Dutch subsidiary, Grafenia BV  for a cash consideration of €2.35m in November after parting company with its long-serving chief executive Tony Rafferty, said trading has been “more challenging” in its domestic channels.
