TEDx event to kick of digital week at IFB2016

IFB2016 will celebrate the Creative and Digital sector in a week long programme of events.

The week, which runs from Sunday 26 June to Friday 1 July 2016, will bring together leading voices in the sector from across the globe to present an inspiring mix of cultural and digital events.

Events will showcase the world’s most forward-thinking and inspiring creative industries and provide a great platform open innovation, creative conversation and ideas sharing.

One of the week’s highlights, TedxLiverpool 2016, will be held on June 26 and will be a rare opportunity for delegates to see where the future may be headed for technology, science, design, entertainment, media, entrepreneurship and a wide variety of other fields.

Other events include the Gateway to the Asian Music Market event on June 28. Hosted by UKTI, it will give delegates insight into the opportunities that exist for UK music companies in the rapidly growing markets of Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan and India.

WBA’s Wireless Global Congress, which runs from June 27-30, is the world’s leading wireless event that attracts more than 700 attendees with its 60 high-level speakers and panellists.

It aims to deliver insights from leading technology visionaries, deployment stories from leading operators and global market updates from leading narratives. It’s an opportunity to network with market leaders and debate the big issues that are transforming the industry – evolution and integration for connected cities, convergent technologies, the challenges and opportunities of license exempt deployment and the drivers and business models associated with real world carrier grade Wi-Fi roll out.

Each week of IFB2016 will have a specific focus: week one will centre on manufacturing, week two on energy and environment and week three around creative and digital.

If you want to attend any of the Creative and Digital week events, take a couple of minutes and register for the IFB2016 Business Club.
