MEDIACityUK, Salford-based business-to-business marketing agency Marketecture, has announced a duo of promotions to its senior management team.
 
With more than 15 years’ experience as a designer, producer, art director, and creative leader, and after six years at Marketecture, Anthony Jones is promoted from head of creative to creative Director.

With previous experience working at BDH/TBWA, Jones will continue to drive the creative vision and aspirations of the agency to be a leader in the b2b space.

After almost two years at Marketecture in an account direction role, Nicola Aldren is promoted to Head of Client Services. Responsible for managing the delivery of Marketecture’s overall client service experience, Aldren will head up the account support team and lead a number of key agency accounts.

STOCKPORT-based KMP Digita has celebrated a series of new client wins by appointing four new members to its team.

Its digital, design and branding projects over the last 12-months include the following clients such as Bruntwood, Shoosmiths, Outgoing, Shopbox, Verastar, Associated British Ports and Manchester Science Parks.

Sofoklis Gialamouidis, Gary Burton, Akash Sood & Ralph HardwickHeading up the technical delivery is Ralph Harwick who is its new head of digital.
Also, adding to the KMP mix is Java developer Sofoklis Gialamouidis, front-end developer Gary Burton, and junior developer Akash Sood.

BUSINESS Growth Hub has appointed Katie Peate as head of digital, Ccreative and technology growth.Katie Peate
 
She joins the Hub from digital consultancy Reading Room, where she was the youngest person to be appointed to the managing board of directors.

Peate has delivered creative strategies for the Arts Council England, Big Lottery Fund, and University of Manchester and was voted in the top three of The Drum’s digital ‘50 under 30’.

At Business Growth Hub, part of the Manchester Growth Company, she will manage three teams with specialists in using technology for business growth and the DCT sectors alongside the Hub’s digital transformation project team.

The Digital Growth team support Greater Manchester businesses to develop their digital strategies, embrace innovation and use technology to grow. The dedicated D, C & T team focus on companies within those sectors to create business plans, access finance and enter new supply chains.

STAGECOACH Merseyside and South Lancashire has made a key addition to its senior team, with the appointment of a new commercial director.David Shurden
 
David Shurden, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the public transport industry, joins the firm from First Bus.

Reporting directly to Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire managing director Elisabeth Tasker, Shurden’s new role will see him take on overall responsibility for the company’s network and performance. He will also oversee vehicle crew scheduling, fares and tickets, digital strategy, local authority and contract tendering, and customer service functions.

STANLEY House Hotel and Spa, in Mellor, Lancashire has bolstered its wedding and events team with the appointment of Andrew Loynes.
 
Loynes, who is 25 and lives in Chorley, has joined the award-winning hotel as a meeting and events coordinator.
 
Loynes is a third-year student studying BA (Hons) Event Management at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and has landed the role as a result of Stanley House Hotel and Spa’s close relationship with the university.

BIBBY Marine Services, owners of the recently commissioned Service Operations Vessel (SOV) for offshore wind farm operators, Bibby WaveMaster 1, has announced a key appointment.  Stephen Bolton has been appointed operations director.

Based at Bibby’s Liverpool headquarters, Bolton brings a wealth of industry experience to the strategically important role, having worked in the electricity industry for more than 20 years. He has worked at both wind farms (including North Hoyle, Barrow, Lynn and Inner Dowsing, Thanet, Rhyl Flats and Gwynt y Mor), and in senior roles at electricity companies such as RWE and Centrica.
