Solicitors help escape experience firm expand

ALTRINCHAM commercial law firm Myerson Solicitors is advising live escape experience company The Escape Room on its UK expansion and worldwide licensing.

The Escape Room, which offers crystal maze style problem solving experiences, opened its first site in Manchester in January 2015 and was the first Escape Room in Europe to have an exclusive bar.

Since the launch of the pilot in Manchester, Myerson Solicitors has continued to advise The Escape Room on various franchises across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

With a dedicated R&D team, The Escape Room has developed over 26 team-building games and puzzles for people to solve. The company aims to offer a premium live escape experience with high quality décor, realistic props and exciting problems.

Business development representative, Melissa Teague said: “The Escape Room’s first venue was an excellent pilot and we have built an excellent working relationship with Myerson Solicitors as we have progressed with our expansion across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.”

Andrew Brown, a corporate commercial partner at Myerson, said: “Escape Room is certainly living up to its mission statement to provide a truly unique live escape experience. I see The Escape Room going from strength to strength over the next six to 12 months and it’s great to be a part of it.”

The team at Myerson was led by corporate commercial partner, Andrew Brown, who was assisted by corporate commercial solicitor, Chris Wilson.
