New CFOs unveiled at listed companies

TWO listed North West companies have announced the appointment of new chief financial officers.

Revolution Bars Group, based in Ashton-under-Lyne in Greater Manchester, has appointed Chris Chambers as its new CFO.
 
He will be joining the listed company in August, when he will succeed Sean Curran, who has informed the board of his intention to leave the company to pursue other business interests.
 
Chambers is a highly experienced finance director who will joins from Ainscough, the market crane hire business.

Keith Edelman, chairman of Revolution said: “We welcome Chris to the company and to the board.  He has broad experience of successfully growing businesses both within large organisations and on a standalone basis.”

Meanwile, AIM-listed specialist in research and development in crop enhancement products Plant Impact, based in Preston, has unveiled Richard Amos as its new CFO and executive director from today.

Most recently, Amos held the position of group finance firector at Anite plc from 2009 until its acquisition by Keysight Technologies in 2015.

Pland Impact chief executive John Brubaker said: “Richard brings impressive experience and a combination of leadership skills that will move us forward in our strategic aims.
 
“With Richard appointed as chief financial officer, the group can continue its global growth and effectively deploy capital to our important developing soybean, cocoa and wheat research projects.”
