Cabfind.com celebrates 20 new jobs at new HQ

A SIX-figure investment by transport-on-demand technology company Cabfind.com into its new headquarters on the Wirral has resulted in 20 new jobs.

The opening of its HQ follows one of the biggest office deals in Birkenhead in the last two years and is the result of funding a business growth grant from Wirral Council.

The Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Pat Hackett performed the official ribbon cutting ceremony and congratulated Cabfind.com on their success, joined by Chris Jordan, managing director of Cabfind.com and Nigel Stevens, chief executive of parent company Transdev.

The, Mayor said: “This is a major office development right at the heart of Birkenhead, and I am delighted that the council was able to play a role in supporting the expansion of Cabfind.com.

“The council has committed to creating and safeguarding 5,000 jobs in Wirral by 2020, and targeted backing for businesses that want to develop their operations, enables the kind of sustainable growth we are keen to encourage.”

Cabfind.com provides the private hire and ground transportation needs of organisations across the UK through its online booking and billing platform, with access to a virtual fleet of 160,000 vehicles, through its UK-wide network of 2,300 taxi suppliers.
