Excel keeps on trucking thanks to six-figure funding deal
MANCHESTER-based Excel Excavations is set to expand thanks to a six-figure asset finance facility provided by Barclays to purchase two new Scania trucks.
Based in Trafford Park, Excel Excavations specialises in bulk excavations, supply of building aggregates, ground remediation including the removal of hazardous waste, site preparation and Japanese knotweed removal.
The company was founded foue years ago by owner and director Allan Sice and has gone from strength to strength with a current fleet of 13 Scania trucks and four Hyundai excavators – clients include Balfour Beatty, Taylor Wimpey, Costain, Russell’s and Persimmon Homes.
Sice said: “Barclays understands our business and were on hand to help us increase our fleet to meet the growing demand for our services. We have quickly established a successful business which is now set for further growth.”
